Through the founding leadership of inaugural Vice-President Dr. Sheila Cote-Meek, the Division of Equity, People, & Culture (EPC) was formed through the integration of Human Resources, Labour Relations, the Centre for Human Rights, Equity, & Inclusion, and the EDI Program Manager position. EPC later grew to include Indigenous Initiatives (2021), Faculty Affairs (2022), and the York-TD Centre for Community Engagement (2025).
