In 2016, the President’s Sustainability Council recommended the review and implementation of the Framework for York as an Anchor Institution, recognizing the potential mutual benefits of strengthening York’s relationships and engagement with local communities. A committee convened by the Division of Equity, People & Culture is currently reviewing, updating, and reinvigorating our YU Anchor Framework.
